Translation:
Even if I am drunk I can still dance like Liu Kun and his companions with long sleeves fluttering and a passionate mood. Cao Cao's Short Song has given many heroes a feeling of thunder and lightning and a sense of astonishment. As I look to the northwest I see the decline of the divine land and the difficulties of the country's situation which makes me feel as sad as the New Pavilion Weeping. Looking at the thirty-six peaks that pierce the clouds like swords and the lush and majestic starry atmosphere how can one not feel a surge of emotions and blood boiling?
Throughout history there have been many heroes and You and Bing are the most prominent. However as a person from You and Bing I can no longer kill enemies and achieve meritorious deeds like my predecessors because my temples are already gray. What else can I do? When the time comes to be ennobled whose name will be left in the annals of history? Even if I fish on the fishing platform like Yan Ziling I will not forget the pain of unfinished ambitions. Facing the vast wind and the mysterious rain tears will flow down my face.
