译文：The night is cool like water the moon covers thousands of mountains and the melancholy sound of the flute drifts into the distance. The road is dimly lit with various flowers scattered all over the ground making people's vision blurry.
After playing a game of chess I suddenly realized that the world has changed and I don't know how many years have passed. Borrowing wine to drown my sorrows the wine is gone but I still can't dispel the strong homesickness.
注释：千山：表示山很多。引自唐代柳宗元的《江雪》诗：“千山鸟飞绝，万径人踪灭。”
“棋罢”句：暗指王质的故事。南朝梁代的任昉在《述异记》中说：晋朝时，王质进山采樵，看到两个童子在下棋，他就放下斧头旁观。童子给了王质一个像枣核一样的东西，他含在嘴里，就不觉得饥饿。等到一盘棋结束，童子催促他回去，王质一看，自己的斧柄也已经朽烂。回家后，亲朋好友都已去世，世间早已变了样。
酒阑：指酒席即将结束。
