早晨起来深感缺少乐趣，离座而起打开清酒一樽。
In the morning I woke up feeling a lack of joy so I got up and opened a bottle of clear wine.
先举杯祭酹造酒的祖师，是他留下美酒给我驱逐忧愁和烦闷。
First I raised my cup to toast the ancestor who invented wine it is he who left behind the fine wine to drive away my worries and troubles.
一会儿感觉便大不一样，顿觉得天地之间热闹非凡。
After a while I felt completely different as if the world had become lively and bustling.
连绵的高山改变了原来的幽晦，碧绿的流水把温暖的气息包含。
The continuous mountains changed their previous dimness and the emerald green water contained a warm breath.
南门城外的一片郁郁葱葱，高大的树木叶茂枝繁。
Outside the south gate of the city it is lush and green with tall trees and abundant leaves.
清凉的树荫可以庇护自己，整天都可以在树下乘凉谈天。
The cool shade of the trees can shelter me and I can spend the whole day chatting and enjoying the coolness under the trees.
即使喝醉也不要推辞，美好的芳草可以供我们躺卧。
Even if I get drunk I won't refuse as the beautiful grass can provide a place for us to lie down.
即使是那些富比晋楚的人，恐怕也未必知道饮酒的快乐？
Even those who are as wealthy as the people in Jin and Chu I'm afraid they may not truly understand the joy of drinking.
注释：
酹（lèi）：以酒洒地，表示祭奠或立誓。u007F先酒：指第一个发明酿酒的人。相传杜康是我国酿酒的创始人。
酹 (lèi): Pouring wine on the ground used to express offering sacrifices or making vows. First wine refers to the first person who invented wine. According to legend Du Kang is the founder of wine making in China.
须臾（yú）：一会儿。殊：不一样。
须臾 (yú): A moment. 殊 (shū): Different.
喧：热闹。
喧 (xuān): Lively.
幽晦：昏暗不明。
幽晦 (yōu huì): Dim and unclear.
函：包含。晏温：晴天的暖气。
函 (hán): Contain. 晏温 (yàn wēn): Warmth of a sunny day.
蔼蔼：茂盛的样子。陶渊明《和主簿》有“蔼蔼堂前林”诗句。南郭门：指永州外城的南门。郭，外城。
蔼蔼 (ǎi ǎi): Lush and flourishing. In Tao Yuanming's poem He Zhu Bu there is a line 蔼蔼堂前林 (lush forest in front of the hall). Nan Guo Men: Refers to the south gate of the outer city of Yongzhou. 郭 (guō) means outer city.
何：多么。一，助词，用以加强语气。
何 (hé): How. 一 (yī) a particle used to strengthen the tone.
清阴：指草木。
清阴 (qīng yīn): Refers to the shade of trees.
竟夕：整夜。

晋楚富：《孟子·公孙丑下》说“晋楚之富，不可及也。”这里指财雄一方的富豪。
晋楚富 (jìn chǔ fù): In Mencius Gong Sun Chou II it is said The wealth of Jin and Chu is beyond reach. Here it refers to the wealthy people in a certain region.
