I used a cane to test the depth of the spring in the wilderness and tied a belt to surround the tender bamboo. Why do I like to wander and contemplate here? Loneliness and solitude are my pursuit. Fortunately coming here has freed me from the pursuit of officialdom and I sing loudly to relieve the hot weather.
