Hand touching the long sword with a jade hilt the sound of the jade pendant is clear and melodious.
Sitting on a luxurious seat with jade decorations holding a handful of fragrant flowers.
Wrapped in fragrant grass the meat is placed on an orchid pad offering wine with the fragrance of osmanthus.
Lifting the drumstick and striking the drum the rhythm is slow and the singing voice resounds
Playing the flute and plucking the zither the sound is melodious.
The beautiful costumes of the witches are exquisite and the fragrance fills the hall.
The sounds of various instruments resonate in all directions bringing joy and peace to the Emperor.
注释：
九歌：《楚辞》篇名。原为传说中的一种远古歌曲的名称，屈原据民间祭神乐歌改作或加工而成，共十一篇。东皇太一：天神名，具体是何种神祇，历代学者说法不一。
吉日：吉祥的日子。辰良：即良辰。
穆：恭敬肃穆。愉：同“娱”，此处指娱神，使神灵愉快、欢乐。上皇：即东皇太一。
珥：指剑柄上端像两耳突出的饰品。
璆（qiú）：形容玉石相悬击的样子。锵：象声词，此处指佩玉相碰撞而发出的声响。
瑶席：珍贵华美的席垫。瑶，美玉。玉瑱（zhèn）：同“镇”，用玉做的压席器物。
