明月照在冒珍珠似的水泡的江水上，秋风洗刷着能把锦缎洗得更好看的锦江。
The bright moon shines on the river water which looks like bubbles of pearls. The autumn wind washes the Jinjiang River making the brocade even more beautiful.
这分别的地方，有楼台，紧靠着又高又陡的江岸；有洲渚，很长很长，长得要跟远天连起来。
In this place of separation there are towers closely adjacent to the high and steep river bank; there are islands and sandbars very long stretching to the distant sky.
旅途飘泊，现在要以千里计数了；而凄凄惶惶的情景，看来要陪伴我一辈子了。
The journey has been drifting and now it can be measured in thousands of miles; and the desolate and anxious scene seems to accompany me for a lifetime.
眼前的穷途末路，只能叫我眼泪洗面；回头看看我走过的里程，也只能叫我潸然出涕。
The dead end in front of me can only make my tears wash my face; looking back at the distance I have traveled it can only make me shed tears.
注释：
沉珠浦：河岸的美称。浦，江岸。
Chenzhupu: A beautiful name for the river bank. Pu river bank.
濯（zhuó）锦川：即锦江。岷江分支之一，在今四川成都平原，传说蜀人织锦濯其中则锦色鲜艳，濯于他水，则锦色暗淡，故称。
Zhuo Jinchuan: It refers to the Jinjiang River. One of the branches of the Min River located in the Chengdu Plain of Sichuan Province. According to legend when the Shu people weave brocade in the river the brocade is bright and colorful but if it is washed in other water the colors become dull hence the name.
绝岸：陡峭的江岸。洲渚（zhǔ）：水中小块的陆地。
Jue'an: Steep river bank. Zhouzhu: Small pieces of land in the water.
亘（gèn）：绵延。
Gen: Extending continuously.
长天：辽阔的天空。
Changtian: Vast sky.
旅泊：飘泊。旅，一作“飘”。
Lübo: Drifting. Lü can also be written as piao.
栖遑（xī huáng）：同“栖皇”，奔波不定，神情不安。遑，一作“迟”。
Qihuang: Restless and uneasy with an unsettled appearance. Huang can also be written as chi.
潸（shān）然：流泪。
Shanran: Shedding tears.
