译文:It is a great fortune to live in the ancient city of Kaifeng in one's lifetime. Look at those white-haired old men they are chatting and laughing how happy they are. Some of them have ancestors who have lived here for five generations and they are used to the peaceful days in the capital city.
The old men talk about the prosperous times during the reign of Emperor Huizong of Song and Emperor Xuanhe. On the Lantern Festival night of the fifteenth day of the first lunar month people crowded onto the Imperial Street to enjoy the lantern market. From Ma Hang Street to Zhou Bridge there were fireworks and lanterns everywhere shining like daylight. There were also several lantern towers that were particularly magnificent located in the famous Daxiangguo Temple.

夷门:The eastern gate of Daliang (now Kaifeng Henan) in the Warring States period later became another name for Kaifeng City.
梁园:A garden built by Liu Wu the King of Liang in the Western Han Dynasty located in the southeast of present-day Kaifeng City.
胭脂坡:A place name in Chang'an during the Tang Dynasty.
宣和:The reign title of Emperor Huizong of Song from 1119 to 1125.
辇路:The route commonly used by the emperor's carriage. Here it refers to the Imperial Street in Bianjing.
马行街:A place name in Bianjing (now Kaifeng Henan) during the Song Dynasty. Zhou Bridge: Also known as Bian Bridge or Tianhan Bridge located south of the Imperial Street in Bianjing directly facing the imperial palace.
相国寺:Originally built during the Northern Qi Dynasty rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Taizong of Song it is a famous building in Bianjing with two side halls that can accommodate ten thousand people.
