Translation:
Once upon a time there were two old men who lived in the same alley. The wife and children of the first old man Mr. A had left their hometown leaving only him behind. One day he brought some wine and went to Mr. B's house. The two of them drank together and had a great time! Mr. B said I used to travel to the distant provinces of Ji and Yong but I have never climbed Mount Tai. Can you come with me? Mr. A replied I have also never climbed that mountain but I am old now and afraid that I don't have enough strength. Mr. B said You're wrong! The foolish old man from the past was able to move mountains when he was ninety years old. We are only in our sixties so how can we be considered old? Mr. A said That's great then! The next day the two old men set off. They passed through Qiantang crossed the Yangtze River and arrived at the foot of Mount Tai. They rested for the night and started climbing early in the morning. Mr. B wanted to support Mr. A but he said I still have enough strength there's no need to support each other. From sunrise to dusk they had already crossed half of the mountain.
