原文: 坠髻慵梳,愁蛾懒画,心绪是事阑珊。觉新来憔悴,金缕衣宽。认得这疏狂意下,向人诮譬如闲。把芳容整顿,恁地轻孤,争忍心安。
依前过了旧约,甚当初赚我,偷翦云鬟。几时得归来,香阁深关。待伊要、尤云殢雨,缠绣衾、不与同欢。侭更深、款款问伊,今后敢更无端。

Translation:
Disheveled hair no intention to comb; locked brows too lazy to draw; chaotic thoughts everything goes wrong. Lately I feel extremely exhausted and thin even my golden embroidered clothes have become loose. Knowing that you the playboy now see me as insignificant. I should tidy up my beautiful appearance how can I easily waste my youth like this and be at peace?

You returned on the promised date just like before. If that's the case why did you deceive me and cut a strand of hair as a gift? When you come back I will keep you outside the door; when you want to make love to me I will tightly wrap myself in the embroidered quilt not sharing the same bed and pillow with you; when the drums beat deeper I will slowly ask you will you dare to be so unreliable in the future?

Jin Tang Chun: the name of a poetic form annotated as Lin Zhongshang in the Yue Zhang Ji. It consists of one hundred characters with ten lines in each section and follows the Si Ping rhyme scheme.
