原文: 空山梵呗静,水月影俱沉。悠然一境人外,都不许尘侵。岁晚忆曾游处,犹记半竿斜照,一抹界疏林。绝顶茅庵里,老衲正孤吟。

译文:In the empty mountains the sound of chanting in the temple the secluded and tranquil forest free from worldly dust. I still remember the scene of a faint cloud in the sparse woods when the sun was setting. In a thatched hut on the top of a cliff an old monk is meditating.

Walking in the clouds and mountains fishing by the stream playing the qin by the brook it is truly joyful. Living in seclusion in the mountains wandering everywhere how many pairs of shoes can one wear in a lifetime? Who can understand the feeling of being immersed in the painting? In the past I made the mistake of pursuing wealth and fame now I regret it and want to retreat to the mountains and forests. But when will this wish be fulfilled? I hope to find the answer in this painting.
